Hi, Friend!

The time of year has come when it starts to feel like a rollercoaster ride from here until the end of the school year. All you can do is just hold on for dear life!

I want to do my very best to avoid as much stress and anxiety as possible associated with this busy time. I want to say no to things that won’t bring me joy or feel like they just don’t fit in our schedule. I want to cross things off my list that might be nice-to-have but not necessary. I want to knock things out in advance without urgency or pressure. I want to savor all the fun things I do have on my calendar: Saturday Suppers, work trips to amazing cities, band rehearsals, meals with friends, etc.

It’s definitely not easy but it at least feels possible!

  • Nonfiction Book I Started Reading: Why Buddhism Is True—The Science and Philosophy of Meditation and Enlightenment.

  • How I’m Squeezing More Cruciferous Vegetables into My Diet: frozen cauliflower in my smoothies, arugula or kale salad (sometimes with purple cabbage) at lunch, roasted broccoli or cauliflower with dinner.
